What We Are Doing?

We are an emerging venture in fashion e-commerce, launching an exciting initiative called the Design Creator (DC) Program. This program is designed for designers and design students who want to shape their future early on.

Through the DC Program, participants get access to multiple opportunities, including jobs, internships, freelance work, and even the chance to build their own brand – all while focusing on what they love: designing.

 

What is the Design Creator (DC) Program?

The Design Creator (DC) Program is an initiative by Design Creator Studio that empowers individuals with a passion for design to bring their ideas to life effortlessly. This program allows designers to submit their design ideas, have it transformed into clothing, and earn profits – without dealing with manufacturing, logistics, inventory, marketing, or promotions. We take care of everything behind the scenes, so designers can focus solely on their creativity and craft.

What is the Duration of the Program?

The Design Creator (DC) Program is a structured 3-month journey, designed to help designers transform their creativity into a profitable venture. Here’s how it works:

Month 1: Design Submission & Approval

• Days 1-15: Participants submit their designs for review.
• Days 16-30: Our team evaluates submissions based on quality, originality, and market potential. Approved designs move to the next phase.
• Finalization: We share the finalized designs (with images), pricing, and your profit share. We’re open to discussions at this stage.

Month 2: Listing Designs on the Platform

• Approved designs will be gradually added to the platform (one at a time) to ensure proper visibility.
• The upload schedule will depend on factors like demand, category, and overall platform strategy.

Month 3: Becoming an Official Design Creator

• Designers who meet the required performance criteria (detailed below) will earn the title of Official Design Creator.
• Official DCs unlock exclusive benefits (detailed list below), including priority listings, enhanced visibility, and increased profit-sharing opportunities.

Official Design Creator – Exclusive Benefits

• Access to All Categories – Only Official DCs can design for all apparel and related product categories.
• Sell Under Your Own Label – Official DCs can sell their designs with their own Label.
• Enhanced Marketing & Exposure – Official DCs receive priority marketing to increase their sales.
• Priority Listing – No waiting period – Official DC designs get listed first.
• Higher Profit Sharing – Official DCs may receive increased profit margins on selected products or categories.
• Luxury Section Access – Official DCs gain exclusive rights to create luxury products.
• DC Million Club – Our commitment is to help Official DCs earn at least one million rupees by ensuring their designs sell enough units.
• Brand Launch Support – The first 100 Official DCs will have the opportunity to start their own brand with our full backing – allowing them to focus solely on creating viral designs.

Official Design Creator – Qualification Criteria

• Prove Sellability: To secure your spot as an Official DC, at least 100 units from all of your designs must be sold through our platform before the end of the 3rd month.
• Limited Official DC Spots: Only the first 100 designers to reach this milestone will earn Official DC status. If more than 100 qualify, selection will be based on who achieves it first.

Design & Category Limitations

• Non-Official DCs can submit a maximum of 5 designs ONLY.
• Only one category is open for Non-Official DCs: T-shirts (Men & Women).
• To expand into additional apparel and related product categories, designers must become an Official DC.
• Only 100 participants can achieve Official DC status.

How to Join the DC Program? – Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Registration

• Sign up at www.designcreator.in/join-today and complete the DC Registration Form.
• Once registered, our team will contact you via email with the complete program details.
• Receive your e-DC Starter Kit, including a welcome email, discount coupons, design submission guidelines, key dates, and FAQs.
• Attend an introductory session, where we walk you through the program structure, design submission process, key expectations, and conduct a Q&A session to address any doubts. This session will help you get started smoothly and clarify any doubts.

Step 2: Submit Your Designs (Month 1: Days 1-15)

• Upload your original designs within the first 15 days in the required format.
• Ensure your submissions meet our quality, originality, and format standards outlined in the guidelines.
• You can submit up to 5 designs; final selection will be at the company’s discretion.

Step 3: Design Review & Approval (Month 1: Days 16-30)

• Our team will evaluate your designs based on market potential, uniqueness, and quality.
• Approved designs will move to the next phase.
• If a design is not approved, we’ll provide feedback, and resubmission may be possible (if applicable).

Step 4: Your Design Goes Live! (Month 2: Gradual Launch)

• Approved designs will be gradually listed (one bye on) on our platform.
• You’ll receive a monthly sales and engagement report for your designs.
• (Optional) While we handle promotions, you can also choose to market your own designs via social media, friends, and personal networks. We’ll provide marketing guidelines to assist you.

Step 5: Earn Money & Track Your Sales

• You earn an equal profit share from every sale of your design.
• Payments will be credited quarterly to your account, combining your total earnings. Once credited, DCs can withdraw it anytime.
• The first quarter will be from April to June 2025.
• (Coming soon) We are working on a Personalized DC Dashboard to help you track real-time sales data.

Step 6: Become an Official DC (Month 3)

• Designers who prove sellability (selling 100 units from all designs) will be upgraded to Official DC status.
• Official DCs unlock exclusive perks (listed above), including priority listings, label ownership, and higher profit-sharing opportunities.

Step 7: Join the DC Million Club

• Official DCs will enter the DC Million Club once they earn ₹1 million from their designs.
• It is our responsibility to help every Official DC reach this milestone – provided their designs have the viral factor.
• Exclusive perks await DC Million Club members, including brand creation opportunities with us.

Step 8: Start Your Own Brand

• We will personally invest in your designs to establish your own label as a brand.
• First, we will scale it online, and then introduce it to offline stores.
• Yes, we have offline expansion plans in the pipeline!

 

Terms & Conditions

By participating in DC Program, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions, which outline our partnership and ensure a fair and dispute-free collaboration.

1. Design Ownership & Rights

• You retain full ownership of your submitted designs.
• By submitting a design, you grant DesignCreator.in a non-exclusive, worldwide license to produce, market, and sell your design on our platform.
• Even after withdrawing a design, DesignCreator.in reserves the right to continue using it for promotional materials (e.g., social media, advertisements) unless the designer explicitly requests removal.
• If a designer becomes an Official DC, they still retain 100% ownership of their designs. However, exclusive rights may apply to specific collaborations or special collections, which will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
• All submitted and approved designs will initially be sold under the company’s name or brand. Designers who qualify as Official Design Creators may later establish and sell under their own chosen label. While the designer retains ownership of their original design, the company holds the right to market and sell the approved designs under its brand during this initial phase.
• You confirm that your design is original and does not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or third-party rights.
• You cannot submit designs that are offensive, discriminatory, or violate any legal or ethical standards.
• If you wish to withdraw your design from the platform, you must provide a 30-day prior notice, and any pending sales will still be processed under this agreement.

2. Profit-Sharing Model

• Designers will receive 50% of the net profits from the sales of their designs.
• Net profit is calculated after deducting:
  • Production costs (approx. 40-50%)
  • Shipping & logistics (varies based on location)
  • Platform fees & taxes (approx. 10-15%)
  • Profit margin (approx. 20-40%, depending on the final selling price)
• Payments will be credited quarterly, combining total earnings. Once credited, DCs can withdraw anytime. The first quarter runs from April to June 2025.
• In the event of discounts or promotions, the designer’s profit will be adjusted proportionally.

3. Submission Guidelines & Modifications

• All submitted designs must meet our quality and originality standards.
• DesignCreator.in reserves the right to reject any submission that does not meet our criteria.” → “DesignCreator.in reserves the right to approve or reject any submission at its sole discretion.
• Rejected designs will not be used or featured on our website/app under any circumstances.
• To ensure feasibility in production, minor modifications (such as resizing, color adjustments) may be required. Designers will be notified of any major modifications.

4. Payments & Payouts

• Payments will be made through bank transfer or digital wallets.
• Designers must provide accurate payment details to avoid payout delays.
• Any applicable taxes or transaction fees will be deducted as per legal requirements.

5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

• Designer earnings will be considered only after the 7-day refund window has passed. If a product is returned, refunded, or canceled within this period, the designer will hold no rights to its earnings, as no profit is generated.
• If a designer’s products experience frequent returns, the platform may temporarily pause their listings for review and discuss potential improvements.

6. Early Termination & Reapplication

• If a designer wishes to leave the DC Program before completing the 3-month cycle, they may request an early exit, subject to platform approval. Any pending sales will still be processed under the agreed profit-sharing terms.
• Designers who do not meet the Official DC criteria after 3 months may have opportunities to continue, subject to platform discretion.
• If a designer repeatedly fails to meet the required standards or violates program guidelines, they may be permanently removed from the program, and no payments will be made in such cases.

7. Responsibilities & Conduct

• Designers must ensure their designs are authentic and do not infringe on third-party rights.
• Any form of misrepresentation, fraud, or plagiarism will result in immediate termination of partnership.
• Designers must not engage in self-purchasing or artificial inflation of sales to manipulate earnings. However, to reach Official DC status, a designer can promote their products within their personal network, on social media, through company-approved discounts, or any other legal method.

8. Dispute Resolution & Liability

• In case of any disputes, both parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before pursuing legal action.
• DesignCreator.in will not be responsible for any indirect losses incurred due to sales fluctuations, production issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
• In case of any disputes regarding sales numbers, profits, design modifications, or other program-related matters, designers must first reach out to connect@designcreator.in for an internal review.
• If a resolution cannot be reached internally, the dispute may be referred to mediation as a preferred method of settlement.
• DesignCreator.in holds the final authority on decisions regarding platform operations, and participation in the program indicates acceptance of these terms.
• Any legal disputes shall be governed by the Delhi Jurisdiction.

9. Termination of Agreement

• Either party may terminate this agreement with a 30-day written notice.
• If a designer is found violating these Terms & Conditions, DesignCreator.in reserves the right to immediately terminate the partnership.

10. Marketing & Promotions

• By participating in the DC Program, designers agree that DesignCreator.in may use their name and submitted designs for promotional purposes, including social media, website features, and marketing campaigns. However, explicit consent will be taken before using personal details such as photos or social media profiles.
• Designers may be featured in platform promotions, but participation in specific marketing activities (e.g., interviews, social media shout outs) will be subject to mutual agreement.
• Designers are encouraged but not required to promote their own designs. However, self-promotion can increase visibility, sales, and help secure Official DC status faster, especially since spots are limited.

11. Inactive Designers & Design Removal

• If a designer’s submitted designs do not generate any sales for an extended period, DesignCreator.in reserves the right to pause or remove those listings at its discretion.
• Designs that are uploaded but do not pass internal review or approval may not be listed on the platform. The designer will be notified in such cases.
• If a designer remains inactive for a prolonged period, their designs may be removed from the platform without prior notice.

12. Tax & Legal Responsibilities

• Designers are responsible for complying with their local tax regulations and must report their earnings as required by law.
• If applicable, DesignCreator.in may deduct tax at source (TDS) or other required levies based on government regulations. Designers will be informed in advance if such deductions apply.
• If a designer’s earnings cross a legally defined threshold, they may be required to provide GST or other tax-related details as per government norms.

Other Terms & Conditions

• Deferred Registration Fee: To sustain and expand the program, the profit share from the first 25 units sold (across any design) will be retained as the registration fee. This is a one-time requirement only. It ensures continuous growth and stronger marketing.

• Category Rollout Strategy: New categories, including apparel and other items, will be introduced gradually based on the company’s strategic plan.
• Referrals & Community Growth: While not mandatory, referrals are highly encouraged to collectively grow the program. Spreading the word and bringing in new designers is a valuable contribution.
• Exclusive Discount Coupons: You will receive discount coupons to share with your network – let them know you have your own label now!

 

Additional Terms

• Policy Changes – Design Creator Studio reserves the right to change or modify the terms and conditions.
• New Terms Introduction – The company may introduce new T&Cs from time to time, and it is the responsibility of participants to stay updated.

• Platform Management – The addition or removal of a designer or any individual from our platform is at the sole discretion of the company.
• Non-Transferability – The DC or Official DC title cannot be transferred to any other designer or label.
• Program Duration – The Company reserves the right to extend or reduce the program duration based on business requirements.
• Final Decision on Designs – The Company has the sole authority to finalize designs, and its decision will be final.
